Problems this morning

We have removed the Microsoft SP1 update. It's the only thing we've added recently so it's the prime candidate for the performance and stability issues recently. We tested SP1 on our QA environment, but there's no way to truly simulate the real world servers and there must be something that doesn't agree with it when the server is under stress.
