Summary
An agency addendum is an exception to the commission schedule of an agency.
Account addendum
A commission rule applied when the agency sells into a certain account. Account addendums supersede other addendums, account group rates, and the schedule. The only thing "higher" is a direct commission item adjustment.
- Use: When a special commission rule is applicable for an entire account for one agency.
- Examples: Special deals and promotions.
Account group addendum
A commission rule applied when the agency sells into a certain account group. This will supersede account group rates and the schedule.
- Use: When more than one agency is selling into an account group and they need to be paid differently.
Product addendum
- A commission rule for an agency used whenever they sell a certain product. Normally this is accomplished with the schedule. Use a product addendum when need to be more specific than or different structure than schedule for an agency.
- Use: Give a certain agency a commission rule that needs more detail than the schedule provides.
- Examples: Special deals and promotions.

- Adding and editing agency addendums requires the "Edit agency schedules" privilege.
- Viewing agency addendums requires the "View agency schedules" privilege.
Agent users
- Agent users may view the addendums of their agency.
Modules
- The agency addendum requires the "Commissions" module.
Adding an agency addendum
Agency addendums can be added in two ways depending if you want to select the agency or the account, account group, or product first. The first option is to select an agency, click "Addendums" then click the appropriate "Add" link. The second option is to first select the account, account group, or product, then click the "Add an agency addendum" link.
