Agent user permissions

From RPM Wiki

This page provides some rule clarifications for what agent users have access to.

Forms

  • An agent manager can see a form if
    • He or she is a participant or any other rep or manager in his or her agency is a participant
    • And the process is visible to agent users
    • And the process management module is on
  • A rep can see a form if
    • He or she is a participant
    • And the process is visible to agent users
    • And the process management module is on

References

  • The value of a field, including references is shown if the field is not hidden from agent users.
  • The reference is shown as a link if the agent user has access to the thing being referenced.
  • Example: Reps Bob and Jane are both participants of Order 123. The Order process has a customer reference and for 123 it is set to the customer Acme Tools. Bob has access to that customer, but Jane does not. Both users see "Acme Tools" when they view the form, but only Bob sees it as a link to the customer details page for Acme Tools. Furthermore, on that details page Bob will see a link to view Orders that reference Acme Tools. A manager in Bob's agency, Sue, is not a participant of Order 123. However, since Bob is a participant, Sue can see the form, the link to Acme Tools, and the link to Orders from the Acme Tools page.

Staff

  • Agent user's do not have a page that lists staff or a details page for each staff.
  • Agent users see staff names listed in forms and agency assignment.
