Summary

The grid control bar is a row displayed above a grid (table) that contains controls that affect or use the data in the table. A common grid control bar will contain a view selection menu, a total row count, and a download link.

  • This feature is used by all view grids as well as other grids that don't use views.

Style

Common look that is basically a single row just above the grid itself.

  • Contents depend on the page
    • Grids using custom views: | Custom view | count | download |
    • Forms (per template): | Custom view | count | summary | download |
    • Commission items: | Custom view | count | summary | download |
    • Grids with quick views & download: | Quick views | count | download |
    • Grids with quick views: | Quick views | count |

  • "summary" indicates a "Summary" link to a summary page. See Commission item summaries and Form summaries for more info.
  • Table is 100% wide. Separate table from grid so even if grid extends past screen edge, the control bar doesn't have to.
  • All cells are nowrap, count cell is 100% width.
  • In the view drop down:
    • The list starts with the built-in views in the order they are in the custom view or other spec depending on the grid.
    • After that list all other views in alphabetical order.
    • Temporary views are displayed in brackets
