Import matrix

An import matrix is a map that tells RPM how to interpret the commission data of a supplier. The import matrix for each supplier matches a variable in RPM to an Excel column name.

Commission rules

The import matrix defines how data is imported including custom variables. Any variables that are used by the commission schedule must be setup in the matrix or the gross and agent rates won’t be calculated.

Staff users

• Viewing an import matrix requires the “Subscriber settingsâ€? or “Commission data importâ€? privilege.
• Editing an import matrix requires the “Subscriber settingsâ€? privilege.

Agent users

• The import matrix is hidden from agent users.

Modules

• The Import matrix requires the "Commissions" module.

Editing an import matrix

There is automatically one matrix per supplier so they don’t have to be created, but they do need to be edited. From the “Commission settings� page, click “Import matrix�.
