Summary

Every staff user has a role that defines their privileges. Privileges define what staff users have access to in the system and are only setup per role. This means staff users have the same privileges as other staff users in their role.

Commission rules

Staff users do not receive commissions, but they do have privileges that say if they can setup commissions and work with commission data.

Super user

RPM comes with a built-in role that has all the highest privileges. In addition, this role has two privileges that no other role can ever have: "Modify privileges & roles" and "Add & delete staff members". The privileges of the super user role can not be changed and the role can not be deleted. The super user role can be given a different name.

Security

Staff users

  • Adding, editing (including setting privileges), and deleting roles may only be done by users in the "super user" role.

Agent users

  • Agent users see role names.

Adding a role

Role management is accessed from the Subscriber page in RPM.
