Summary

A supplier is a company that has an agent contract with the subscriber. In other words, the subscriber is an agent of the supplier. A subscriber can have any number of suppliers.

Commission rules

The commission paid from a supplier to a subscriber is called the gross commission. The gross commission is calculated by the supplier and provided in the supplier commission data that is imported into RPM.

Using the gross rate in the schedules and addendums, RPM will calculate and expected gross commission and use this to audit the actual (imported) gross commission. See gross commission audit
