Warning

This is a warning shown by Internet Explorer when a web page that uses a secure connection has things on it that don't. This is not an error, but may be caused by an error since error pages are not secure. In RPM it's always OK to click "Yes" for this warning. In the case of errors it will likely reveal the error.

Causes

  • If the Internet Explorer Content Advisor is enabled, this warning will be shown on every RPM page. The Content Advisor must be disabled (default) to avoid this.
  • An IE error page is going to be displayed. RPM's own error pages are fine because they are delivered over the secure connection, but IE error pages are local and so will generate the warning if encountered. This is most commonly seen with timeout errors.

Not using RPM?

This is a support page for users of our RPM application. However, it has received a high Google ranking and is visited a few hundred times a week.

  • On other websites you are likely seeing this error because you were on a secure site and are about to see an error page. You see this popup because the error page itself is not secure, but the underlying cause of that error is what needs to be addressed.
